DREW GRIFFIN

Drew Griffin leads Invariant’s Health Care practice group. With over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill and extensive relationships across House Republican leadership and the House Energy and Commerce and Ways and Means Committees, Drew helps Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and health technology start-ups clear regulatory hurdles and drive business growth. He ensures clients are strategically positioned to lead on issues like regulatory certainty at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), workforce challenges for providers, and the intersection of health with AI. He knows the levers to pull to promote and protect the needs of the industry.
Previously, Drew served as chief of staff for Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH), a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. In this role, he worked to expand coverage for telehealth services during COVID-19 and remove barriers for workers to utilize Health Savings Accounts. He also worked with the FDA to secure the pharmaceutical supply chain and championed efforts to improve data collection and information sharing to combat the opioid epidemic. Earlier in his career, Drew worked for then-Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-MN) – where he played a key role in efforts to repeal the Medical Device Tax – and former Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA).
