Marisol was the vice president of communications and media relations at the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU). There, she led efforts to elevate the association’s policy priorities by creatively delivering simple and effective messaging to policymakers, consumers, and the media.
Earlier, Marisol was the chief communications officer at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In this role, she supported and amplified the strategic direction of the agency, managed the agency’s communications efforts and crisis response, and oversaw internal communications efforts to address a range of social and diversity, equity, and inclusion issues. Marisol also held communications leadership positions at the Office ofManagement and Budget, Treasury, and House Financial Services Committee.
Marisol earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
