MARK FRIEDMANN
Mark Friedmann brings nearly a decade of experience spanning both the public and private sector. He leverages a deep understanding of the executive branch and his policy expertise to help clients navigate the annual National Defense Authorization Act and appropriations processes. He works with Invariant’s clients on issues ranging from emerging technologies and national security policy to clean energy and aerospace.
Mark spent three years serving the Obama Administration, working at the Department of Energy in the Office of Secretary Moniz as well as the White House playing a key role in the design and implementation of the 2016 transition. Prior to joining Invariant, he worked at a D.C.-based technology startup where he led the company’s efforts to standup a top-of-the-funnel business development team.
Mark holds a master’s degree from The George Washington University and is a graduate of Kent State University. He serves on the advisory board of a Virginia ed-tech company, where he helps guide them on growth strategy and product development.
