MONICA TRAUZZI
Multi-media strategist Monica Trauzzi is a recognized expert in sustainability, climate, and energy issues. She leverages decades of journalism and trade association experience to deliver high-impact communications strategies to Invariant’s clients.
Prior to joining Invariant, Monica worked for the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), where she repositioned the nuclear industry’s place in the climate conversation with narrative-changing communications and content strategies. She conceptualized and launched “Off the Menu with Monica Trauzzi,” a video series featuring power lunches with climate and energy leaders, capturing audience interest beyond the nuclear sector with more than 2.5 million views.
Before NEI, Monica was managing editor and anchor for E&E News (now part of Politico), leading E&E’s highly influential daily and weekly programs and serving as a high-visibility spokesperson on energy topics. She produced and moderated more than 2,000 on-camera interviews with energy and climate leaders for the daily online program, “OnPoint with Monica Trauzzi.” In 2018, she was named “Woman of the Year” by the Valtarese Foundation for excellence in reporting on energy and environment issues.
Monica graduated from Syracuse University and earned certificates from Harvard and Yale Universities.
