NICK MIKULA

Republican Nick Mikula brings more than a decade of experience providing strategic guidance on complex policy matters at the Pentagon and House Armed Services Committee and in the private sector to Invariant’s clients. He helps mission-driven technology innovators navigate the evolving landscape of defense, intelligence, and national security policy.
Most recently, Nick served as a consultant to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security. In the Trump Administration, he was special assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, contributing to policy and strategic decision making as a subject matter expert on intelligence for military operations and combatant commands. In that role, Nick oversaw interagency coordination and DOD support to the intel community and managed more than $20 million in research and development innovation.
Previously, Nick worked as a professional staff member and deputy communications director for the House Armed Services Committee, where he developed policy recommendations, messaging, and press strategy for former Chairman William “Mac” Thornberry (R-TX).
Nick graduated from Providence College. He is an Eagle Scout.
