AMY SWONGER

Amy Swonger is a Republican government relations strategist with more than two decades of public and private sector experience and extensive House, Senate, and White House expertise. At Invariant, she advises on and develops strategies for companies on issues ranging from tax and financial services to energy and technology policy. In an evolving political, legislative, and regulatory landscape, Amy is an experienced and trusted Washington advisor who leverages her relationships, legislative aptitude, and advocacy skills for clients.
Before returning to Invariant, Amy served four years in the Trump White House, first as the president’s Senate liaison and most recently as Assistant to the President and White House Office of Legislative Affairs Director. She was responsible for developing legislative strategy, promoting the president’s initiatives and nominations, and building and maintaining relationships with Congress.
Earlier in her career, Amy worked as a senior manager for government affairs with Washington Council Ernst & Young. She also served as a whip liaison for former Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott (R-MS), floor assistant for then-Senate Majority Whip Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Senate liaison for former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Amy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
