Annabell McWherter works with Invariant’s health care clients to develop and execute winning legislative and regulatory strategies. She taps her experience working with Senate Republicans as former majority counsel for the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.

As committee counsel, Annabell worked on a range of policy issues affecting the Department of Veterans Affairs, including health care, technology modernization, and mental health. Previously, Annabell launched the University of Georgia School of Law’s Veterans’ Legal Clinic and spent time working for Paralyzed Veterans of America and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Annabell holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated from the University of Mississippi. She is admitted to practice law in Washington, DC.
