CAROLYN CODA

Carolyn Coda is a legislative and regulatory strategist, with 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors. She focuses on tax policy, financial services, and privacy/cybersecurity, helping clients navigate the complex political landscape in Washington.
Carolyn joined Invariant from global reinsurer Swiss Re, where she served for seven years as head of federal affairs. She was responsible for leading the firm’s public policy initiatives on issues ranging from financial services and tax policy to cyber risk and climate resiliency. Prior to Swiss Re, Carolyn spent time in both the legislative and executive branches. She clerked for the Republican staff of the Senate Finance Committee before transitioning to the Senate Judiciary Committee. She was also a political appointee at the Treasury Department under President George W. Bush, serving in the Office of Legislative Affairs.
Carolyn received her JD from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law and graduated from James Madison University.
