CHRIS GILLOTT

Chris Gillott brings two decades of federal and state legislative and policy expertise to Invariant’s clients, where he advises and develops strategies to help health care, energy, tax, and appropriations clients navigate the evolving political, legislative, and regulatory landscape. Known for reaching across the aisle to secure bipartisan deals in the Senate, Chris uses his political acuity and deep understanding of policy issues and the legislative process to help Invariant’s clients achieve their legislative and regulatory goals in Washington.
Prior to Invariant, Chris served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director to Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), where he led the senator’s legislative and policy teams and managed the senator’s Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), Finance, and Energy committee portfolios. Additionally, Chris served as the economic advisor to former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and chief of staff of the governor’s management and budget division as well as worked for Jindal in the House as his legislative director. He was also part of former Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison’s (R-TX) legislative staff.
Chris received an MBA from Columbia Business School and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University.
