Jessica Hatcher counsels the firm’s health care clients on issues ranging from prescription drug prices, price transparency, and supply chain challenges to the regulation of artificial intelligence. She skillfully navigates complex health care issues not only on the floor but also through the appropriations process. 

Before joining Invariant, Jessica served as legislative director for Representative Jake Auchincloss (D-MA), acting as a principal policy advisor on health care. In this role, she helped shape Democratic proposals to address prescription drug prices and was active on issues ranging from health care workforce, value-based care, and telehealth to pandemic preparedness. She also oversaw the congressman’s work on supply chain issues, including efforts of the newly established Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party.

Previously, Jessica was senior legislative assistant for Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA).

Hatcher is a graduate of Princeton University.
