Katie Wise co-chairs Invariant’s health care practice group, providing strategic advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and technology start-ups. With over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill and the private sector, Katie uses creative solutions to help clients navigate the regulatory, legislative, and political process. She has successfully led extensions of key Medicare payment programs for rural hospitals, advanced health care quality and program integrity initiatives, and provided major relief to clients caught in the trade tariff cross-hairs.
Prior to joining Invariant, Katie led the Federation of American Hospitals’ Republican outreach on Capitol Hill and with the Administration, representing the more than 1,000 investor-owned or managed community hospitals and health systems throughout the United States. On Capitol Hill, Katie served as legislative director for Representative Vern Buchanan (R-FL), where she worked closely with the House Ways and Means Committee on health care, tax, and trade issues. Before that, Katie worked as legislative director for Representative Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA) and for former Representative Mary Fallin (R-OK).
Katie holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and graduated from Rhodes College.
